Track run planner

A parts list for a track run: lengths, joints, corners, feeds and end caps.

    Track lengths to use

We normally keep 2 m and 3 m in stock.

Part versions (earth side, keys, ratings)

    Runs

One row per run. Pick a shape and enter the side lengths, measured along the track centre line from corner to corner. A rectangle is a closed loop with no end caps; use Free-form to enter corners, T and X joints and flexible couplers yourself.

        How this is worked out

        Track sections

        • Only the lengths you tick are used. By default that is 2 m and 3 m, what we keep in stock.
        • Each side gets the mix that orders the least extra track, then the fewest sections. 4 m is 2 + 2, not 3 + a cut 2.
        • At most one section per side is cut, and the list says what to cut it to.
        • Couplers add a little to the overall length.

        Shapes, joints and caps

        • Straight, L, U and rectangle are 1, 2, 3 and 4 sides, joined by 0, 1, 2 and 4 L couplers.
        • Every joint between two sections in a side gets a straight coupler.
        • An end feed (9001 or 9002 on ONETRACK, you pick the hand) means one end cap. A middle feed (9001-MF on ONETRACK ST, R, H and ST15, and the EVO ones) means two.
        • A rectangle is a closed loop with 4 L couplers and no end caps. On EVO it takes a middle feed. On ONETRACK it is fed through one of the L couplers, listed as a normal L coupler, and the feed connection is for you to confirm with Stucchi or Luxtron; or pick 9001-MF to place a middle feed in a joint. Stucchi also says a closed loop makes a data bus ring, to be broken at one L joint.
        • A middle feed needs a joint. If there is none, the longest side is split in two.
        • Free-form: give the length and the L, T, X and flex counts. Each of those, and a middle feed, takes a joint, and the tool warns if there are not enough.

        Which part fits which profile

        • Read from the product records: the "Compatible with" field, the code suffix (-H, -ST15, -R, -TR, -ST) and Stucchi's drawings.
        • Where a record names a profile, only that profile gets the part. Where it does not, the part is matched by code family, rating and finish, and flagged under part versions.
        • UL (US) parts are never listed. A part whose record lists UL track but whose drawing matches the non-US part is used, and the profile notes say so.
        • Every ONETRACK profile is offered in black, white and grey, EVO in black and white. Where a finish has no record, the code follows the finish letter of the same part family and is marked "code by pattern, confirm with Stucchi".

        Sources and limits

        • Catalogue records for every code listed: ONETRACK and EVO.
        • Stucchi technical drawings linked from those records.
        • A 48 V EVO run also needs a driver at the feed. This tool does not size it: send us the fixture wattages. Stucchi's voltage drop table allows 50 m of track per feed at 60 W, less at higher power, and the tool warns above 50 m.

        Variants covered

These are the profiles the planner knows and the parts it resolves for each, in the black finish (white and grey use the matching codes). "Not in catalogue" means no record ties a part to that profile. ONETRACK is fed from an end feed (the hand is picked in the setup), or from a 9001-MF middle feed on H, ST15, R and Advanced. Scroll the tables sideways on a small screen.

        Codes made by pattern

No record for these finishes is in the catalogue yet. Each code takes the finish letter of the same part family (B, W, G; W2 on EVO track, caps and joining accessories) and is marked in the parts list. Confirm them with Stucchi before ordering.

        Left out, and why

        • US (UL) parts. ONETRACK 9000-UL track (4 and 12 ft, 120 V and 277 V, 20 A at 60 Hz) and every code with a -2C, -3C, -277 or -120 suffix are for the US market, so they are not offered. That includes the ST15 end cap and the R/6 plates for couplers, which are listed for UL codes. Two exceptions follow the Stucchi manuals and drawings: the ST15 end feeds 9001-ST15 and 9002-ST15 (the record says 20 A / 120 V, but the manual names them) and the black and white 9003 short coupler (the drawing matches 9003/G). Both are marked to confirm with Stucchi.
        • Advanced (9000A) and Advanced E (9000AE). Both are planned with the parts their records support. The Advanced parts are matched by rating and finish, not by a stated compatibility. The black and white 9003 records give the UL rating but match the grey one, so they are used. The grey S-9000/GP and S-9000/H accessories name 9000AE track, but what they are is not stated, so they are not added. Suspension parts for Advanced are not resolved from the data.
        • ONETRACK feeds. The default is an end feed, 9001 (earth line on the right) or 9002 (earth line on the left), picked by hand. The 9001-MF middle feed is offered where the manual applies it: H, ST15, R and Advanced, not trimless or Advanced E. Stucchi's manual also allows a feed through a 9010 to 9018 coupler wired with the same conductors as the end feeds, so a rectangle lists four normal L couplers, one of them wired as the feed. No Stucchi record names a special L coupler for it.
        • Other ONETRACK families. HYPER (9100), Core and MICRO (9600, 9800), adapters (9009 and others), circuit breakers and the DMX terminator are different systems or fixture-side parts and are not track-run parts.
        • Fixings. The 9000-KIT suspension kits, ceiling clips and brackets are not added for ONETRACK because their records state no profile compatibility. For EVO the 9500-KIT kits are offered for ST2, ST6 and ST8, the profiles their records name. Covers, diffusers and fixing counts are not planned. Stucchi's manuals give at most 900 mm between fixing points (25 kg per span, 36 kg on two 450 mm spans), and 15 kg spread over a 2 m ONETRACK section (EVO: 2 kg ST1, 5 kg ST6, 10 kg ST2, ST7 and ST9); follow the mounting instructions.
        • Not resolved from the data. What the keyed (K) EVO versions and the mirror versions 9014 to 9016 are for is not stated, so the choice is left to you. The EVO ST2 and ST6 L joint piece comes in polyamide (-P-) or aluminium; polyamide is the default, as the T and X pieces exist in polyamide only. For ST3, ST5 and ST10 the manual builds the corner piece around the 9518-S flexible coupler with two S-9500/314 plates, so those are offered as corner kits. ST7 and ST9 are two-channel profiles: couplers are counted twice. Whether ONETRACK 9018 fits each profile is not stated.

Results are a planning aid, not a design sign-off. Check the figures against the manufacturer's datasheet for the exact product, or ask us to check them with you.IP Geolocation by DB-IP
