Senzafine EVO (product line M22) is A.A.G. Stucchi's 48 V linear light module for the 9500 EVO track. It clips into the track like a spotlight would, but gives you a line of light instead of a point, and it comes in six optic versions built on the same aluminium body.

This post is the overview: what the module is, what it runs on, and which versions exist. The optics get their own comparison later.

What Senzafine EVO is

Each module is a self-contained 48 V linear luminaire with an aluminium body and a polyamide cover, labelled by Stucchi as EVO / MULTISYSTEM. It takes power from the track it sits in, so there is no separate feed to each fitting and no ceiling cut-out per light. If the furniture moves, the modules move with it.

The track it is built for is the 9500 EVO family. The EVO track profiles we list are rated 15 A / 60 V dc, carry up to 25 kg/m, come in 1000, 2000 and 3000 mm lengths, and can be surface mounted, suspended, recessed or fitted trimless depending on the profile. That range of mounting options is a large part of why the module is useful: the same light line works on a suspended track in a showroom and in a trimless plaster channel in an office.

Six optics on one body

The range is split into six products, one per optic:

  • Lens: individual polycarbonate lenses in narrow (20°), medium (30°) or elliptical (26° x 42°) beams.
  • UGR reflector: a polycarbonate reflector for low-glare general lighting.
  • Opal: a diffused screen for an even, soft line.
  • Microprismatic: a microprismatic screen with tighter glare control than opal (UGR < 25 against > 28).
  • Fumé: a smoked screen, black body only, for a dim decorative line.
  • Wall washer: an asymmetric screen for lighting vertical surfaces.

Because they share the body and the track interface, you can mix them on one run: wall washers along the perimeter, reflectors over the work area, lenses on the display wall.

Lengths and output

Lengths depend on the optic. The lens and UGR versions come in 285, 565, 845 and 1125 mm, plus a short 98 mm high output piece. Opal, microprismatic and fumé run 285 to 1405 mm. The wall washer is 285 or 565 mm only.

To give a sense of scale at CRI 90: a 285 mm medium beam lens module gives 430 lm at 5.8 W, a 1125 mm UGR module gives 2042 lm at 21.4 W, and a 1405 mm opal module gives 2474 lm at 28.8 W. The full figures are on each product page.

CRI, finish and control

  • CRI: the lens and UGR versions come in CRI 90 or CRI 95. The screened versions are CRI 90. Colour consistency is MacAdam ≤ 3 across the range.
  • Colour temperature: the variants listed on our product pages are 3000 K.
  • Finish: black or white, except fumé, which is black only.
  • Control: on-off, DALI, 0-10 V, or a no-driver version. The UGR and wall washer modules also have DALI PLUS and ON-OFF PLUS options for their higher output versions.
  • Lifetime: over 50,000 h at L90B10 for the lens and UGR modules, and over 60,000 h for the high output versions.

Where it fits

Senzafine EVO makes sense where you want general or accent light on track but a row of spotlights would look busy: offices with track over the desks, retail where the layout changes each season, galleries that need wall washing and display lighting from the same rail. If you are already running EVO track for spots, the linear modules go into the same profile.
